privacy policy

last updated: oct 2026

This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit parliamentsounds.com, try or buy our software, and how you can control it. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, for visitors in Europe, the GDPR.

1. who is responsible

The data controller is Davi Suenaga, Brazil, operating as Parliament Sounds. For anything about your data, write to support@parliamentsounds.com.

2. what we collect

  • When you buy: your e-mail address and name, and the order id, which Paddle passes to us so we can send your serial. Payment details stay with Paddle; we never see them.
  • When you activate or start a trial: your serial, a computer id and the dates of activation, trial start and last check. The computer id is a one-way hash made on your computer: the original hardware id never leaves it, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
  • When you use “lost serial”: the e-mail address you type, used only to send serials linked to it.
  • To prevent abuse: your IP address, kept for up to one hour to limit repeated requests.
  • When you visit the site: anonymous visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.

3. why, and on what legal basis

  • to sell you the licence, deliver and re-send your serial and run activation and trials — performance of a contract;
  • to stop serial sharing, repeated trials and abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting the software;
  • to keep sales records required by tax and accounting rules — legal obligation;
  • to understand which pages are useful (anonymous statistics) — legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or send newsletters.

4. who receives it

  • Paddle — our reseller and merchant of record: payments, invoices, taxes and refunds (see Paddle's own privacy policy);
  • Cloudflare — hosting of the website and of the licence server, and the anonymous statistics;
  • Resend — sends the e-mails with your serial.

These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and data-protection terms.

5. international transfers

These providers may store data outside Brazil and outside your country (for example in the United States or the European Union). They use safeguards recognised by the LGPD and the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. how long we keep it

Licence records (e-mail, name, serial, activations) are kept while the licence exists, so we can re-send your serial and keep your activations working. Trial records are kept to prevent repeated trials. Sales records are kept for as long as tax law requires. IP addresses are discarded within one hour.

7. your rights

You can ask to confirm, access, correct, export or delete your data, to object to a use of it, or to withdraw a consent, by writing to support@parliamentsounds.com. If we delete your licence data we can no longer re-send your serial or restore activations. You can also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) or to the authority of your country.

8. cookies and local storage

The site uses no cookies. Your browser keeps two small preferences on your own device — whether you have already seen the intro animation, and the volume of the demo player — which are never sent to us. Paddle's checkout window may use its own cookies when you open it to pay.

9. changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
