terms of sale and licence (EULA)

last updated: oct 2026

These terms apply when you buy, download or use software from Parliament Sounds, including Glitchy Terminal (the “software”). By installing or using the software you agree to them. Nothing here takes away rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

1. who we are

Parliament Sounds is run by Davi Suenaga, Brazil, operating as Parliament Sounds (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@parliamentsounds.com.

2. buying

Our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all orders: Paddle sells the licence to you, takes the payment, issues the invoice, charges any sales tax or VAT and handles payment questions and refunds. Your purchase is therefore also governed by Paddle's buyer terms, shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are calculated at checkout according to where you are.

3. your licence

The software is licensed, not sold. When you buy, you receive a serial number that gives you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual licence to install and use the software. Everything you create with it — music, recordings, samples, performances — is yours, with no royalties owed to us.

4. computers and activation

  • Each serial can be active on 2 computers at the same time.
  • Activation happens inside the plugin and needs an internet connection once. There is no offline activation.
  • After activation the software works offline. When it is online, it checks about once a week whether the licence is still valid.
  • To move to another computer, deactivate it in the plugin on the old one first.

5. free trial

You can try the full software for free with a 3-day trial, without an account. The trial starts the first time you open the plugin window, needs an internet connection once, and is limited to one trial per computer (reinstalling does not start a new one). After the trial the software produces no sound until it is activated with a serial.

6. updates

As long as you own a licence, all updates are free.

7. what you may not do

  • share, publish, sell or give away your serial, or let more than 2 computers use it;
  • copy, rent, resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or its installer;
  • remove or work around the licence protection, or decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law expressly allows it.

If you break these rules we may deactivate the serial.

8. refunds and revocation

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its serial is deactivated and the licence ends.

9. no warranty, limited liability

The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law. Please use the free trial to check that it works on your system before buying. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost projects, data or profits. Always keep backups of your work.

10. law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including Law 9.609/98 (software) and the Consumer Defence Code. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

11. changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase, and the date above shows the latest change. Questions: support@parliamentsounds.com.
